Felix the fox lives in a cozy den at the edge of a sunny meadow. He has bright orange fur, a white chest, and a fluffy tail with a white tip. Around his neck, he wears a simple green scarf that his grandmother made. One afternoon, Felix sits on a mossy rock and holds his very last chocolate chip cookie. It is round and golden, with melty chips that smell like sweet chocolate. Felix decides to save it for a special day and tucks it into his scarf.
As Felix skips through the meadow, he meets three friends who are hungry: Bella the rabbit, Max the bear cub, and Pip the hedgehog. Each one asks if he has any food, and Felix faces a dilemma. He wants to keep his cookie for a special day, but his friends are hungry. He pauses, unsure what to do. Bella has been hopping all morning, Max's tummy rumbles loudly, and Pip hasn't eaten all day. Felix feels uneasy and wonders why he is saving the cookie.
Sitting under a big oak tree, Felix unwraps the cookie and looks at it. He imagines eating it all by himself on a special day. But then he thinks of his friends' hopeful smiles and rumbling tummies. He realizes that his friends always share with him, and he decides to share his last cookie. He calls Pip back, finds Bella and Max, and breaks the cookie into four pieces. They sit together under the oak tree, eating their pieces slowly and enjoying each other's company. Felix learns that a special day is any day you spend with friends, and that sharing brings true happiness. This heartwarming story teaches children the value of generosity and friendship.

The Little Fox's Last Cookie - Author : Ebru Mina TOMURCUK
Felix the fox lived in a cozy den at the edge of a sunny meadow. He had bright orange fur, a white chest, and a fluffy tail with a white tip. Around his neck, he wore a simple green scarf that his grandmother had made. One afternoon, Felix sat on a mossy rock and held his very last chocolate chip cookie. It was round and golden, with melty chips that smelled like sweet chocolate. 1
Felix looked at the cookie and smiled. "This is my last one," he said softly. "I will save it for a special day." He wrapped the cookie in a big green leaf and tucked it into his scarf. Then he hopped down from the rock and skipped through the meadow. The sun was warm, and the flowers nodded as he passed. Felix felt happy and proud of his plan. 2
As Felix skipped along, he heard a tiny voice. "Hello, Felix!" It was Bella the rabbit. She wore a yellow dress with a white collar and a small blue bow on one ear. Her long ears stood up straight, and her round eyes sparkled. "I've been hopping all morning," Bella said. "My tummy is rumbling. Do you have any food?" Felix touched the cookie in his scarf and paused. 3
Felix thought about his special day. But Bella looked so hungry. "I have one cookie," he said slowly. "It's my last one." Bella's hopeful smile made Felix's heart feel soft. "I could share a tiny piece," he thought. But he wasn't sure. "Maybe later," he said. Bella nodded politely and hopped away. Felix watched her go, feeling a little uneasy. 4
A few minutes later, Max the bear cub came bounding over. He wore blue overalls with a big front pocket, and his round belly jiggled as he walked. "Hi, Felix!" Max grinned widely. "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole tree of berries! Do you have a snack?" Felix clutched his scarf. The cookie was still there, wrapped in its leaf. "I have one cookie," Felix said. "It's my last." 5
Max's tummy rumbled loudly. "Oops!" Max laughed. "That's my tummy talking. It says please!" Felix looked at Max's friendly grin. He wanted to keep his cookie for a special day. But Max was his friend, and he was hungry. Felix's tail twitched. "Maybe I can share," he thought. But he still wasn't sure. "I'll think about it," Felix said. Max nodded and ambled off. 6
Felix sat down under a big oak tree. He unwrapped the cookie and looked at it. It was the most delicious cookie he had ever seen. He imagined eating it all by himself on a special day. But then he thought of Bella's hopeful smile and Max's rumbling tummy. "Why am I saving it?" he wondered. "What is a special day, anyway?" He sighed and wrapped the cookie up again. 7
Just then, a tiny voice called from the grass. "Excuse me, Felix." It was Pip the hedgehog. He was small and round, with soft brown spines and a pale cream face. He wore a red knitted hat with a little pompom on top. "I'm sorry to bother you," Pip said shyly. "I smelled something sweet. Is that a cookie? I haven't eaten all day." 8
Felix looked at Pip's tiny black eyes and little pointed snout. Pip was so small and polite. Felix's heart felt heavy with kindness. "I have one cookie," Felix said. "It's my last one. I was saving it for a special day." Pip nodded. "I understand," he said. "Special days are important." He turned to go, his little feet padding softly on the grass. 9
Felix watched Pip walk away. Then he looked at his cookie. He thought about Bella, Max, and Pip. They were all his friends, and they were all hungry. Felix remembered how happy they were when they played together. He remembered how Bella shared her carrots and Max shared his berries. "They always share with me," Felix said. "Why shouldn't I share with them?" 10
Felix jumped up. "Wait!" he called. "Pip, come back! I have an idea." He ran to find Bella and Max, and soon all three friends gathered under the oak tree. Felix held up his cookie. "This is my last cookie," he said. "But it's big enough to share. Let's have a special day right now!" His friends' eyes grew wide with surprise and joy. 11
Felix broke the cookie into four pieces. He gave one to Bella, one to Max, and one to Pip. The last piece was for himself. "Thank you, Felix!" Bella said, her blue bow bobbing. "You're the best!" said Max, his grin even wider. Pip held his piece carefully. "This is the nicest thing anyone has done for me," he said softly. Felix smiled so big his cheeks hurt. 12
They sat together under the oak tree, eating their cookie pieces slowly. Bella giggled, Max told a funny joke, and Pip shared a story about a ladybug he had seen. Felix looked at his friends' happy faces. He felt a warm, fuzzy feeling in his chest. It was better than any cookie he had ever eaten. "This is the best special day ever," he said. 13
From that day on, Felix learned that sharing makes everything sweeter. He didn't need to save his cookie for a special day, because every day with friends is special. Bella, Max, and Pip often came to visit, and they always brought something to share. Felix's green scarf still held crumbs sometimes, but now it held happy memories, too.
