The Fox's Invisible Bicycle - Author : Ebru Mina TOMURCUK

In a cozy forest clearing, where sunbeams danced on the grass, lived a clever fox named Felix. Felix loved to tinker and build, and his tool belt jingled with tiny wrenches. His orange fur glowed bright, and his amber eyes sparkled with ideas. One morning, he pulled a shiny blue bicycle from his workshop. 'Today,' he declared, 'I will make it invisible!' 1

Felix worked all day, humming and tinkering. He mixed a special paint that shimmered like air, and brushed it gently over the bicycle. 'Now you see it, now you don't!' he chuckled. He put on his round goggles and hopped on. The bicycle vanished beneath him! He pedaled along the path, feeling very proud and clever indeed. 2

Down the winding path, Felix rode his invisible bicycle. Squirrels looked around, puzzled. 'Whoosh! What was that?' they chirped. Felix just grinned his sly grin and pedaled faster. 'No one can see me!' he thought. But the path was busy, and his friends were out for a walk. Would they notice him in time? 3

Rabbit was first. She carried a little satchel full of colorful ribbons, her blue scarf fluttering. As she crossed the path, the invisible bicycle whizzed by, nearly bumping her. 'Oh my!' she gasped, her pink nose twitching. 'Felix, is that you? I can't see you at all!' Felix just laughed and zoomed on. 4

Further along, Bear ambled with a basket of bright ribbons. He was big and gentle, in his red knit vest. The invisible bicycle swooshed past, and Bear stumbled back. 'Whoa there!' he rumbled. 'Felix, you must be careful. We can't see you coming!' But Felix only waved and sped away, feeling proud. 5

Little Hedgehog toddled along in her yellow sun hat, ribbon spools in her apron pocket. She heard a whirring sound and looked up. 'Is that a bird?' she wondered. Just then, the invisible bicycle brushed past her spines. 'Oops!' she squeaked. 'Felix, that tickles! But I can't see you!' Felix laughed and rode on, not thinking about safety. 6

Rabbit hurried to find Bear and Hedgehog. 'Felix's invisible bicycle is fun for him, but it's not safe for us,' she said, her round eyes serious. 'We need to help him see that safety matters more than showing off.' Bear nodded, and Hedgehog clapped her tiny paws. 'Let's tie ribbons on his bicycle!' Rabbit suggested. 'Then everyone can see him coming!' 7

They gathered all the ribbons they had—red, blue, yellow, green, and pink. Rabbit opened her satchel, Bear set down his basket, and Hedgehog pulled spools from her apron. 'We'll make it bright and cheerful,' Rabbit said. 'And safe!' added Bear. 'Ribbons everywhere!' giggled Hedgehog. They set off to find Felix and his invisible bicycle. 8

Felix was resting under a big oak tree, his invisible bicycle leaning against the trunk. He looked up as his friends approached. 'Hello!' he called. 'Want to see my invisible bicycle?' Rabbit stepped forward. 'We have a better idea,' she said gently. 'Let us tie some ribbons on it. Then you'll be safe and easy to see!' Felix frowned, but his friends smiled kindly. 9

Bear held the invisible bicycle steady, his big paws gentle. Rabbit tied ribbons on the handlebars, and Hedgehog wrapped them around the wheels. 'Red for stop, green for go!' she chirped. They worked together, and soon the bicycle was covered in fluttering ribbons. Felix watched, and slowly his proud grin turned into a thoughtful smile. 'Maybe you're right,' he said. 10

When the bicycle was fully decorated, Felix hopped on. The ribbons fluttered in the breeze like a rainbow. 'I can see it now!' Hedgehog laughed. 'And so can everyone else!' Rabbit added. Felix pedaled around the clearing, and the bicycle gleamed with color. 'This is much better,' he admitted. 'I'm visible and safe!' His friends cheered. 11

From that day on, Felix rode his ribbon-covered bicycle everywhere. Squirrels waved as he passed, and birds sang along. 'Here comes Felix!' they'd call, spotting the bright ribbons from afar. Felix felt happy and proud—not because he was invisible, but because his friends cared about him. He learned that safety with friends is much better than showing off something new. 12

Felix even added more ribbons, and sometimes his friends rode alongside him. Rabbit on her scooter, Bear on his tricycle, Hedgehog in her little wagon—all decorated with ribbons too. They made a cheerful parade wherever they went. 'Bright colors keep us safe!' Hedgehog reminded everyone. And Felix nodded, his amber eyes warm. He never wanted to be invisible again. 13

One sunny afternoon, Felix invited all his friends to a picnic. They sat on a blanket, munching berries and laughing. 'Thank you for helping me,' Felix said. 'I thought being invisible was clever, but being safe with you is better.' Rabbit smiled, Bear nodded, and Hedgehog hugged Felix's paw. 'Friends look out for each other,' Rabbit said. And they all agreed. 14

Felix's bicycle stood nearby, ribbons dancing in the breeze. He looked at it and smiled. 'I'll never hide again,' he promised. 'I'll always be easy to spot and easy to see.' He gave each friend a ribbon to wear, so they could all be bright and safe together. And from then on, the forest was filled with color and laughter. 15

So if you ever visit the forest, look for the fox on the ribboncovered bicycle. You'll see him coming from far away, with his friends close by. And you'll know that safety and friendship are the best inventions of all. Felix rides happily ever after, easy to spot and easy to see, with a bright ribbon waving hello.
